What do you do when you score a bloody good goal...

...completely and utterly by accident?
I was desperate to get a touch, any touch, on a high ball landing about 15 yards from goal in a six-a-side game. I hoped to control it in about three touches, but instead my first touch went horribly wrong... in the best possible way.
It looked like a perfect cushioned volley over the keeper into the top corner, and not just to me.
My first instinct was to confess (possibly because no women were watching).
I'm not sure if I regret this now

I did something similar in the first round of the London Old Boys Cup, season before last.
Two minutes to go in extra time and it was Dorkinians 4-4 Queen Mary College Old Boys. The ball gets played to me in the inside right channel, I hear our striker call for the ball, I glance up then down and attempt to square it to him. The ball ricochets off my shin and lobs the keeper, nestling perfectly in the top corner. I couldn't have done it better had I tried a million times.
It was probably the most important goal I've ever scored as we went on to win the cup that year, but I couldn't celebrate the goal like I meant it. I just stood there pissing myself laughing before getting mobbed by my team mates.

celebrated my hole in one at footgolf on Saturday with my shirt over head and a jog around the fourth tee. ... does that count? Harder than scoring a goal.

A firm handshake with a fellow team player was th e norm back in my day, but I think a jolly good wank by the corner flag is required these days.
